LynnGroup relocates to former Williams building on Ave. A in Bay City

BAY CITY, Texas (Thursday, November 17, 2022) ­­– LynnGroup companies have relocated their corporate offices to the former Williams Companies building in Bay City. Lynn Engineering, Lynn Development, Lynn Construction and Lynn Steel Buildings are now located on the corner of Avenue A and 6^th Street at 2200 Avenue A, Bay City, TX 77414.

“This relocation makes it even easier for our customers to obtain the services and resources they need,” said Stuart A. Lynn, P.E., founder and CEO of the company. “Everything we do, including this move, is to ensure that our client’s projects stay on time, on budget and we deliver products that are built to last. We’re going to the next level in 2023, and this move will open more doors for us to do big things and positively impact the lives of our employees, clients and community.”

Anchored by the 25-person Engineering team, a total of 45 full-time employees will office out of the facility.

The company has long since outgrown its 5,000 sq. ft. space at 1221 Avenue F in Bay City. In 2022, two mobile office trailers were placed in the rear of the current offices and other members of the team were dispersed among the company’s other properties in Palacios and Edna.

“Having everyone under one roof again will be a game-changer for our team,” said Mitchell Carrillo, P.E., Chief Operating Officer and principal engineer at Lynn Engineering. “Rapid growth over the last few years has been a blessing, but it’s also come with challenges in terms of workflow and planning. Teams working together in the same building will create new synergies to boost our efficiency and productivity.”

Lynn Engineering will be joined in the 9,235 sq. ft. space by Lynn Construction, Lynn Development and Lynn Steel Buildings. The space will feature a showroom, several client meeting spaces, a large conference room, several shared, open-concept workstations and office suites. State-of-the-art communication and technology systems were installed in mid-November to facilitate seamless working between the company’s satellite offices and traveling staff. Employees will also enjoy a fully equipped workout facility.

“This facility meets our current needs and provides plenty of opportunity for continued growth,” said D.C. Dunham, COO of Lynn Development. “Our team has done an incredible job of preparing this space for our use. The building itself is a perfect fit, given that the last occupant performed a substantial amount of work updating and remodeling just a few years ago. Its availability could not have come at a better time.”

Lynn Construction has operated in Palacios since 2013, and before the former Chipman Construction served Palacios for nearly 40 years. This move expands the custom homes construction company’s service area in the Bay City market and regions east of Matagorda County.

“The added space for our growing team and the expansion of our service area are major milestones for Lynn Construction,” said Jarad Ramirez, the company’s General Manager. “As we continue to design and build unique custom homes in the region, our abilities will continue to increase given the proximity of our team to other industry experts.”

All companies will be providing services from this location following the return from the Thanksgiving holiday.
