Position: Engineer II

Lynn Engineering is seeking a highly motivated self-starter looking for the opportunity to manage and grow our business in the role of ENGINEER II (Bay City, TX).

Duties include:

  • Perform engineering calculations and provide engineering designs for structural plans for multi-story Wood, Steel, CMU & Concrete framed residential and commercial buildings, abiding the local building codes.
  • For projects in Texas coastline, provide engineering design based on windstorm & flood zone requirements. 
  • Attend site consultations to assess the structure condition and provide possible solutions and safe & economic alternatives.
  • Utilize Enercalc, STAAD.pro, RAM Connection, RAM structural system, and AutoCAD. 

Requires master’s in Civil Engineering and 1 year of experience in structural design.
