Gene Coronado

Civil Designer

Gene Coronado, Civil Designer, handles engineering design for land development projects.

Gene has been in the civil engineering field for 22 years, and has been on design teams that have studied, schemed, and delivered on projects ranging from small retail to big box, shopping complexes, residential subdivisions, multifamily complexes, public roadway, drainage, and utility projects.

Gene’s civil engineering career began on impulse. Beginning as a self-taught CAD technician, he has gone on to receive certifications as an Autodesk certified professional, GIS certified user from San Antonio College, and Siteops certified user.

In his spare-time, Gene enjoys creating adventures with his grandkids, hunting, fishing competitively, tackling DIY projects, and working on his vintage Bronco.

Gene believes that anyone is capable of success beyond their expectations. “The greatest thing about being human is that you can change yourself.”

Gene is inspired by “the work is not finished” mentality that he and his wife share. It has been the driving force to all their successes.
