Pavan Kata

Pavan Kata is the Project Managing Engineer at Lynn Engineering. He handles the Structural Engineering department at Bay City office and his job responsibilities include design and detailing of the buildings, managing the draftsman and the trainee engineer, as well as answering questions from inspectors, contractors and homeowners.    

He joined Lynn Engineering in March 2019 after gaining experience in wood, steel and concrete framed building design through previous roles in Oklahoma and New York. Pavan will sit for his P.E. exam in October 2020.

Pavan graduated from Arizona State University in 2017 with Master of Science in Structures and Materials Engineering. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in India.

In his spare time, he loves to watch movies made anywhere in the world and prefers playing sports instead of working out in the gym. Pavan understands and speaks five languages and loves to spend his vacation in India or on road trips with friends.

He truly believes that whatever he is today is because of his family and the goal to make them proud is the only thing that drives him forward.
